There is only one common goal businesses want to attain and it is “success”. Whether it is a small or large companies and corporations in every angle they want to be successful. In order to attain success, organization should have good and proper management. Good managers should possess good people skills, open and honest communication to the employees. A well rounded and skillful manager is company’s best asset because he or she will drive to attain organization’s goal and of course achieve success.
Definition of Management
Management is the process of working with people and resources to accomplish organizational goal (Bateman, & Snell, 2009). Knowledgeable and well trained managers know how to allocate resources with lesser cost. To function effectively, organizational goals should be attained. Clear focus and determination should be maintained by a manager in order to function efficiently and effectively.

Planning
The management function of systematically making decisions about the goals and activities that an individual, a group, a work unit, or the overall organization will pursue (Bateman, & Snell, 2009). Planning is the stage of identifying the goal, identify steps or actions needed in order to attain the goal. Documenting the goal, steps on how to achieve, timeframe to achieve that certain goal, and who are the person responsible on tracking on the progress should be recorded on this process. This function set the stage of actions and major achievements of the organization.
Organizing
This is the management function of assembling and coordinating human, financial, physical, informational, and other resources needed to achieve goals (Bateman, & Snell, 2009).
