Introduction:

The evaluation of expatriate remuneration effectiveness is analyzed through the study. The study through in depth literature review arrives at the various parameters that play a critical role in evaluating the expatriate effectiveness. Since the study captures the performance a subjective topic it is more appropriate to employ the qualitative method. Of all the qualitative techniques the questionnaire method is found to be useful because of its simplicity, ability to capture the textual content into numerical format and the amount time consumed is less compared to the other methods. The study also uses a weighted factor in order to distinguish the direct and the indirect impact of the variables in evaluating the expatriate outcome while performing a task. The method employs Pareto analysis to arrive at the threshold value which classifies effectiveness of the remuneration. Finally the report discusses the limitations of the proposed research method to study the expatriate remuneration and further scope for improvement.
