As you all know I always use any opportunity that I have to express how much your contribution, effort, dedication and hard work is appreciated by me and the entire management staff at InterClean, Inc as we make this enormous move to achieving domestic market dominance in the sanitation industry. At this point I believe it would be fair to say that we are all well aware of the recent notice by the President that InterClean, Inc. has “officially acquired EnviroTech, one of our major domestic competitors in the corporate market” and that “over the next four months, we will be working to merge about 60 EnviroTech sales staff and operations specialists into the InterClean structure”. According to the President’s announcement, we are fully expected to reach our sales goals for the next year, which should increase profitability by 40 percent and this will only become a reality with everyone’s contribution as a team player.

To make this a reality for our company, I have drafted this memo to outline the importance of the behavior demonstrated by managers as we transition into our anticipated goal to offer an all-inclusive full-service solutions packages in the cleaning and sanitation business both domestically and worldwide. As managers, it would be very essential that you all comprehend and put into operations some key work ethics that would be discussed in this memo.

Positive attitude

I have been unfortunate to have worked with a manager whose attitude about the firm went sour due to a pay increase freeze by the company. The manager over a short period of time continued to show less interest in the company and did not hold back on expressing his frustration with the company to both his colleges and subordinates.
