Academic honesty is when a student uses the code of conduct to honor the rules of the University by following student policies and guidelines. The works of a student has to be acknowledged, every assignment must be submitted as the work of the intellectual owner. When a student submits an assignment of another’s work which applies to copying, paraphrasing or summarizing someone else’s work without using quotation marks, and citation, ideas without appropriate acknowledgment which will be reviewed and checked for plagiarism that will be a violation of student code of conduct and this action is unacceptable. The materials are to be the student’s own meaning. It cannot be of another student’s work and should include essays, quizzes, tests and paraphrasing.
