Presentation of the CEO’s Position

As the CEO of Kardell Paper Company it has been drawn to my attention that several groups have some Important concerns with our operating procedures. And that data has suggested that there could be a possible link of sonox that has possible cause effect to the community of riverside. Also as CEO of this company, it is my obligation to consider the position of the board on this matter, as I reach a decision as to how we as a company, should react to the situation. Reaching this decision did not come lightly, as it would affects many people of the riverside community. I believe I first will critically examine each and every single review of the stakeholder’s position and will form a course of action regarding the concern that they may have concerning sonox in the community. I will address whatever course of action is needed and is decided to take. These actions will be based only actual facts and will also be based in the best interest of the company as well as the community. The proposed plan would involve Kardell Paper Company having to shut down for about a year or more while the company could incorporate the new technology to keep any more contamination of sonox from reoccurring ever again.

The first group I believe with concerns I will examine will be the Kardell investors. The most important concern that the investors have is whether or not they would receive any type of profit back from their investment. The Kardell investors have also came up with some very good plans to keeping the company from shutting down completely. The investor’s argument is important since there is no actual evidence that the plant is the one releasing the chemical known as sonox. The investor’s also argument is the unknown if sonox is the cause for miscarriages and respiratory disorders to the citizen in the community of Riverside.
