Microsoft Word: Many users think that Microsoft Word is a graphics program. The truth is that Word is a word processing program that allows you to insert graphics into a document. Microsoft word is a full featured word processing program that allows the user to create professional looking documents. With Word, you can create many types of documents such as flyers, letters, memos, resumes, reports, fax cover sheets, mailing labels, and newsletters.

Word has features to simplify document production making the document appear to be professionally done. Word allows you to change the shape, color, and size of text. You can insert borders, shading, tables, images, pictures, and charts.

Many of the tasks in word are completed automatically such as grammar error correction. The thesaurus allows for adding variety to the writing. Word can also format Text headings, lists, fractions, borders, and Web addresses. With the many predefined text and graphical elements, the user will be able to create professionally looking document quickly and easily.

There are a few common errors that users make that require some support to resolve the issues. Customers often save their documents on the computer and then forget where they saved them. One way they can avoid this is that they should create a folder with a specific name. Such as “WORD DOCUMENTS.” In addition, place that folder on the desktop. Then they should save word documents to that folder. They should also name the document so that they can recognize it.

It is also a good idea to save the document often while working on them in case you would have an electrical interruption. It would also be a good idea to save backups to a removable storage device.
