Pollution is the most serious environmental issues in the world. Air pollution is a phenomenon wherein the release of harmful chemicals in the atmosphere results in contamination of air, and makes it unsuitable for various life forms on the planet. Firstly, Malaysia government plays an important role to prevent the air pollution. Government Malaysia has set the rules and regulations to deal with some factories that are not followed the rules. Examples, strict control factories of emission harmful gases because it will affect human health. If the factory not follows, the government will take action to factories that do not comply with the law. Sometimes if the case is serious, it may cause to close down the business. Government also implemented the non-plastic bags day and provided recycle bins for their citizen; in order to educate people about the environmental awareness.

Malaysia’s government also encouraged people reduce the use of vehicles either by resorting to public transport for daily transportation or switching over from vehicles to other, means that cycling or walking. The reason of using the public transport can help to avoid the traffic jam and when people cycling or walking also will helps to improve their health; because Malaysian normally dislike to exercise.

Secondly, have a lot of researches shows that saving energy by resorting to energy saving appliances and not wasting electricity will save costs and also help in curbing air pollution. Examples, switch off the lights, fans, air conditioners, televisions, and other appliances, when is not in use.
