Objectives and scope of the report:

The objectives of the report are:

-To fulfill the requirement of the course curriculum.

-To know about activities of insurance company in Bangladesh.

-To know about the essentialities of insurance company in Bangladesh.

-To find out some major problems of insurance in Bangladesh as follows

-Social

-Political

-Economical

-Miscellaneous etc.

-To identify the solutions of solving the problems of insurance in Bangladesh

-To gather knowledge about insurance company in Bangladesh.

-To suggest or recommend some necessary steps to solve the existing problems.

-To suggest necessary steps to develop insurance business in a developing country like Bangladesh.

Methodology

For preparing the report we have used many sources of data. Secondary sources of data were used to meet the data requirement. We have used Internet and different articles published in the journals

& magazines have been used.

So therefore, Secondary Sources are:

-Textbooks on insurance.

-Annual Reports of BGIC.

-Internet Books.

-Annual report of insurance companies.

Limitations

To make the report on Insurance Company in Bangladesh, we have faced many problems. So for this reason we could not make a good report. Besides this, it is our first initiative for making a report on Insurance Company in Bangladesh as student of B.B.A 6th semester. So lack of knowledge, communication facility, lack of time etc, was also worked behind our less quality full report. But we have tried to make it standard from primary data as like as possible
