INTRODUCTION:

Organistional behavior is the behaviour of various people in an organisation or a company, it is the study of human psychological behaviour ,how he/she encompasses to completes the task and how effectively reached the goal in order to enhance the given task. The behaviour depends upon work psychology,design of work, group work or team work, benefits of an employee. It also depends upon social needs like food, status, job security, esteem needs etc.,

Definition:

Organistional behaviour is the study of act of people, groups, individual employees in an organisation and how they are approaching the desired system.

Motivation and work psychology:

Case study organistion is TESCO,it is the biggest food retailer in UK and performing operations in many countries like Ireland, Hungary, in Asian countries etc., . Organisation is nothing but group of people working together or individual team work,organistion tries to motivate among employees targeting single task or multiple tasks, the goals of an employee must align with the goals of a company/organistion. It is important to motivate others for development of organisation, when their is no motivation there is no quality of proper work. Tesco motivates their associates by identifying their work orientation, appraisal among associates, rewards linkeage to their performance behaviour.

Working evironment is quite good in Tesco but it varies from job to job, like its hard to work in cold storages, in night shifts but the pay will be little bit high, it also provides free refreshments in leisure period like tea, drinks, water etc.,

Organisation and management of groups and teams:

Group is defined as collection of individuals who perform certain set of skills to reach the goal. Team is defined as collection members who performs complemented set of skills who acquires from a long career. It is more important for organistions like tesco to work together in teams and groups may be it is related to performance...
