XBOX 360 or PS3

Today’s generations are not the type to go outside to play hide and seek or tag. Instead of kicking a ball, they would prefer to play a game that simulates kicking a ball. The “cool” or “fun” activities to do consist of kill zombies with their friends on a game console. Choosing between the Microsoft Xbox 360 and PlayStations PS3 tends to cause difficulty in deciphering which one consumer’s would prefer to play. While console owners will disagree on which system performs the best, a common factor lies between the two. Kids and grown men love playing video games; simple as that. Killing zombies, flying planes, shooting aliens, racing fast expensive cars, impersonating professional athletes, consume thoughts of today’s generation. Xbox 360 and PS3 make these dreams happen. Die-hard fans of each system will argue until the last breathe on which one reins supreme.

First and foremost, cost remains as the most important factor for consumers today. Xbox 360 cost ranges from two hundred dollars to four hundred dollars. Where as the PlayStation 3 cost ranges from three hundred to four hundred dollars. The winner for cost goes to Xbox 360, but the PlayStation 3 gets more for their money.

Microsoft’s Xbox 360’s major features include but are not limited to, its integrated Xbox Live service that allows players to compete online, download arcade games, demos, trailers, television shows and movies, and its Windows Media Center capabilities. It also offers access to third-party media streaming services such as Netflix and ESPN, and its recently new addition the Kinect. Xbox 360 only gives two options for hard drive space, four gigabyte and two hundred fifty gigabyte. In addition to two options they add bundles and special edition boxes.
