Leadership Round Table

The Curtin Business School is active in providing events and educational tools for the benefits of students. Branched out from its main organization is a samller department called CBS Plus which design and plan workshops for business students. Among one of the events planned this semester is called leadership Round Table.

Why and what is Leadership Round table . The leadership round table is and event that gives opportunity to students to engage with high profile leaders by allowing them to have a face to face interaction in a round table discussion . the events main objective is to help students power up their leadership skills. Leadership roundtable is held every year by CBS plus for students. As I said earlier , CBS plus is branch organization of Curtin Business School that designs events for the benefits of students, this year the leadership roundtable will be held at the Centre of Aboriginal Studies building 211 on the 12th May and will run from 6-8p.m.

Design of Event

How is the event going to happen. As we have explained above, the platform of the leadership roundtable is to educate students on leadership skills that will be important to the in the future during workforce. The event will run for two hours and will involve two guest speakers with two sessions. This year’s leadership round table will have bill withers which is the managing director of aCAquire technology solutions ( Ernst and Young entrepreneur of the year) and Damien Langley of Student Edge . Why were this speaker chosen?

Bill Withers was chosen as one of the leadership speakers as he was listed Ernst & Young’s entrepreneur of the year. This award is highly accredited by the business industry and his leadership skills as a speaker is well known. Besides that he was willing to give the the talk to students for free.
