In today’s rapidly changing economy, every organization needs both effective leaders and effective managers to run a successful operation. Although, leaders and managers are viewed differently by many individuals who use them interchangeably throughout phrases and sentences, others will argue that a good manager and a good leader do not exist, and that they both cannot be good at the same time. Moreover, the difference between leaders and managers comes with the knowledge of both terms emphasizing similarities between the two by influencing employees, and working with effective goal management. In addition, the Boeing Company distinguishes their leaders and managers by opportunities that translate into success. To obtain this success, leaders and mangers usually play certain roles and responsibilities in creating and maintaining a healthy organizational culture. Since Boeing is a globalized company, there are affected by globalization and management, where they use the strategies of maintaining a budget and constructing a plan to remain functional.

At the Boeing Company, managers and leaders decision making process is the number one focus, leading to the identification of relationships between organization and employees. In contrast, managers and leaders use resources of ethics, cooperate social responsibility, and legal issues to support the decisions involved in the improvement of the safety and healthy working conditions in the company. According to R. Smith, managers and leaders participate on cost of products which is what the organization produces to give an understandable price to its products, witnessing the processing and the activities such as labor, materials that are accumulated to become unity to help healthy working conditions.
