Final Project Overview and Timeline

Final Project Overview

The final project requires you to evaluate the quality of existing disease awareness programs, and requires you to recommend improvements to help reach a greater audience. You must demonstrate your knowledge of the causes and effects of a common disease on the human body, risk factors, how that particular disease is diagnosed, prevention methods, and the treatments available. This provides a foundation for you to assess how well one public awareness resource of your choice addresses the disease, and allows you to propose enhancements to the program. You will present your findings in a 2,000- to 2,400-word paper.
