Hey IMTians! Welcome to another new academic year of IMT Nagpur. Boy! Isn’t it good to be back home? After scurrying around in the hot sun during our SIP , coming back to IMT N is a pleasant sight for sore eyes.Most of the student managers had an enthralling experience in their SIPs. To cap it all, everyone was excited on hearing the news that IMT- Nagpur is ranked among Super League-2 (top-20) by Indian Management Best B–Schools Survey 2011.

Inaugural Ceremony for Batch 2011-13

There was excitement and nervousness among the freshmen of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) as they were welcomed by the staff and senior students of the college on Monday. Chief guest Manoj Mandal, director of Essar Industries, motivated the students to give first priority to the country. "Today, Indians are ruling the roost in developed industries of USA and other foreign countries. One must not forget his background in the process of learning. Rather than becoming high-profile NRIs, you must serve your country," he said while addressing the students. He also advised them to focus on inclusive growth and sustainable development. "Industrial development is taking place but at the cost of environment. We must not leave behind a polluted environment for the next generation," he added. TOI spoke to some freshers who said they were looking forward to a fruitful experience at IMT....
