The modern-day business marketplace requires a technology based system that can provide the tools for an organization so they can manage and control information. One such software application is Oracle’s PeopleSoft. “Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise applications are designed to address the most complex business requirements. They provide comprehensive business and industry solutions, enabling organizations to increase productivity, accelerate business performance and lower cost of ownership.”(PeopleSoft Enterprise, 2010) Oracle’s powerful PeopleSoft Application makes the managing of human resources, finance and management much easier with their all-encompassing software.
Human Resources
Oracle’s specific application for the managing of an organization’s Human Resources is called PeopleSoft Human Capital Management or HCM. This software allows the organization to accomplish various HR tasks that would normally take up an enormous amount of time with a lot of paperwork. One of the uses of HCM would be to allow a business to forecast, deploy, and manage their workforce. HCM also lets the organization manage HR globally on a single system of record while complying with local laws and regulations.
Finance
With the growing demands on a company to operate more efficiently, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management application will help save any organization time and money.
