Both retail and wholesale trade are included in the services sector. In economic development theory,a country will be developed if it can move from low productivity to higher productivity sector,namely from agriculture to manufacturing and services. Malaysia is not an exception. In fact,it should move long time ago. The US has more than 70% in services sector, both in terms of share in GDP and employment.
