According to CNN website, the report titled, “Egyptian VP vows changes to appease protestor,” the report starts with comments from Egypt’s vice president, Omar Suleiman. Other than comments made by the VP in Egypt CNN has provided other comments made by individuals like Egyptian protestors Gigi Ibrahim and Wael Abbas, former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mohamed ElBaradei, Muslim Brotherhood members, Mohammed Mursi, and Mohamed Saad Al Katatni. Government officials including Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq, U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and U.S. President, Barack Obama were also mentioned. CNN has managed to report comments made from at least eight substantial individuals. The comments from the protestors and members of the Muslim Brotherhood are similar in wanting the ending result of current President Hosni Mubarak to step down from the presidential position. The comments made by important government officials both the United States and Egyptian were similar in wanting peace and order among the Egyptian government and its protesting Egyptian citizens. CNN has also mentioned that Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak refuses to step down from office, but insist on waiting until the Egyptian presidential election, which is in September 2011. Though Egyptian protestors outraged by the comments made by the Egyptian president they still agreed to meet with Egyptian vice president, Omar Suleiman, to discuss the actions and intentions of the Egyptian government. Some of the suggestions made by the vice president to improve the relationship between the citizens of Egypt and the Egyptian government are the ensuring of free media and communications and creating a series of committees to oversee positive changes with the Egyptian government.
