ABSTRACT
Electronic waste or e-waste is one of the most rapidly growing problems of the world.E-waste consists of a various components,which is contained toxic substances.This substances has an hazardous impact on human health and the environment if not handled properly .Our country is also suffering not only due to the generation of its own e-waste but also dumping of ewaste from developed countries.This is adjoined with India’s lack of appropriate infrastructure and procedure of its disposal and recycling process.This report covers a complete overview of this problem,India’s current e-waste scenario, environmental and health hazards,disposal and recycling process,legal process and framework and recommendations for action.
