In the table below, categorize different leadership approaches that could be used in the work environment you have described. Provide different suggestions for each of the four approaches to leadership.



Factory work, meeting goals.

In this company everyone has a job to do, to get parts done and down the assembly line. Everyone most work as a team to meet the monthly goals.

Make sure enough guidance is given to the employee’s.

Have enough people working daily to keep the team on track to finishing their goals.

Give proper rules to ensure everyone is pulling their weight.

If you are friendly to the employee’s they in return will be friendly.

By listening to complaints and showing concern from the employees, this will gain the respect of the employee’s.

Always treat every worker the same never show favoritism.

Achievement-oriented approach

Let the employees chose a special day off if able.

Encourage your employees to come forward with ideas and suggestions in ways to meet their goals.

Using the employees suggestions will make the employee’s happy and keep them working to get to their goals.

Let the employees know how much they are appreciated and how well they are doing.

Letting the employees work at there own pace can be helpful if there are enough to get the job done.

Make sure their goals are reachable but challenging.

Supportive leadership

Supportive leadership would be the best in this company. By being friendly and supportive toward the employees, this will help ensure the employee’s they can come to the manager with any concerns and suggestions they might have to complete their work and meet their goals on time.
