Riordan Manufacturing, Inc. Overview

Riordan Manufacturing, Inc., a Fortune 1000 enterprise, is wholly owned by Riordan Industries. Riordan currently earns revenues in excess of $1 billion and a projected annual earning of $46 million. As a global plastics manufacturer, Riordan currently employs 550 people. Products available to consumers include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plastic beverage containers produced at the Albany, Georgia plant,

• Custom plastic parts produced at the Pontiac, Michigan plant,

• And plastic fan parts produced at the Hangzhou, China facility.

Riordan also manufactures heart valves and medical stents. Riordan Manufacturing has the organization’s research and development prepared at the corporate headquarters in San Jose. Their major customers consist of automotive parts, aircraft, and appliance manufacturers. The Department of Defense, beverage makers, and bottlers are also part of their major customers list.

Currently, Riordan Manufacturing wants this opportunity to review and revise their approach in avoiding and handling legal liabilities. Riordan’s legal team currently consists of the following members:

• Lowell Bradford, Chief Legal Counsel: Mr. Bradford currently oversees all legal matters for Riordan Manufacturing. Before all contracts are signed they must be approved from Mr. Bradford. Should any laws be violated or questions Mr. Bradford is notified and expected to resolve the issues. Mr. Bradford will consult with the legal team Litteral & Finkel prior to providing answers.

• Rick Ethridge: With Mr. Bradford’s assistance, Mr. Ethridge handles all of the company’s patent applications.
