Company and Owner Background

Mr Saqib Amanullah was always eager to start his own business venture and he had special attention towards the multimedia and graphic designing business as he was really good at it . Due to which he pursued a degree in IT from Iqra. Another important factor which helped him in starting his own business was that he had seen his father working for a corporation and he knew he didn’t want to be working for an organization who wanted optimum input from its employess but would take home majority of the profits that they would earn. He also had direct experience to the business culture in the shape of his grandfather who was already running his own business. After eventually spotting a white space in the industry he decided to name the company Vervedia, derieved from two words verve and media. Core vision was to make this company into an ad agency. Then in 2007 he got the company registered as a one man show basically, being a freelancer. Been into graphics since an early age and honed on his skills at university. Personal links helped a lot in growing the business. Mid level clients started coming in so he decided to start his own venture. Work basically related to web designing, brand id development , marketing material , marketing research . Back than he didn’t have a team, he wanted to start something on his own rather than alone. Lakson Tobacco was one of the early clients which helped him improve his portfolio. His immediate goals after starting the company were to make a lot of money and to be the CEO of a GROUP of companies rather then a single entity. Because of the fact that he didn’t have a scarcity of resources he decided to start his own venture without any partnerships as he wanted complete control of the organization which showed that he had an authoritarian touch to his management style.
