Environmental Factors

Environmental factors are identifiable elements in the physical, cultural, demographic, economic, political, regulatory, or technological environment that affects the survival, operations, and growth of an organization (Business Dictionary, 2011). This paper is to review Convergys Corporation, who conducts business both domestically and globally. In this paper there will be an analysis of global economic interdependence, the effect of trade practices and agreements, the influence of culture differences, effect of political systems, and the influence of international relations. It will also provide the importance of demographics, physical infrastructure, social responsibility, and ethics versus legal obligations. In addition the paper will provide an analysis of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977. Also within this paper there will be an explanation of the effects of technology.
