Effectiveness of Solid Waste Management

Introduction

Solid waste Management is an effective way to minimize the garbage Pollution. It takes a very big part in the development of a society. It can give protection both public health and environment. It prevents flash floods in times of typhoon. Solid waste management also in a Income Generating you can have money by separating the Biodegradable to Non-Biodegradable wastes. Biodegradable waste can use as fertilizers. And Non-Biodegradable wastes like tin cans and plastic bottles can be sold.

Waste management is the collection, transport, processing, recycling or disposal and monitoring of waste materials. The term usually relates the material produced their effect on human the environment or aesthetics. Waste management is also carried out to recover resources from it. Waste management can involve solid, liquid, gaseous or radioactive substances with different methods and field of expertise for each (Carpenter, 2010).

Streets are lined with garbage our water flooded, and our creeks clogged with trash, even our mountain are junks all these are reflection of the need to heed to the serious call for waste management – it is time for each and every one of us to stop living dirty (Ecological Solid Waste Management, 2000).
