Abstract

Using Edward De Bono “Six Thinking Hats” method, I will begin to break down the issues surrounding corporate tax. Investigate Governor Rick Perry’s views on corporate tax holiday. Using history, statistic, and fact to fully understand issues compiled by corporate tax, we then can think of alternatives to solving the economy crisis.

Discussion

We all have the power at the click of our finger tips to find information concerning the economy crisis. With the vast advancement in technology and the all so informational web, we can learn anything we wish to desire and yet majority chose not to. So many tax payers transform into workaholics just to put food on the table and don’t ask why it is so hard now days to make a living? Many people are afraid of change; they just want to focus family, work and free time.

During our free time we don’t want to think about politics, economy, immigration, and etc. Hoping if we don’t thinking about it or act upon the situation it might just go away, as sweeping it under the rug. Society does not help with the situation, in fact they hinder our eyes with stupid reality shows that has nothing to do with life, at the same time they brainwashing our youth in believing that reality shows are what America is really like.

Meanwhile major fortune 500 companies collect on our negligence, and avoid taxes using loopholes in the system. These large corporations pay little to none in taxes and some times and sometimes negative percentage, in other words they receive money from the government. The average American household income for the fiscal year 2010 is approximately $46,326 or less in annual gross income. According to the IRS Calculator for filing taxes, $46,326 falls under the 25% tax bracket for federal income tax, unless you are married and filing jointly taxes. The percentage...
