I have played many rounds using the mental scorecard since it was taught to us in class. As a result I have seen my scores improve while using this system. I feel it has improved my game for the simple fact that I am more focus for the most part on each shot. At times I will just go through the motions and lose focus but now I can realize that and get back on track.

The round I will focus on is the last one I played at El Camino for the first round of the GAA P.A.T. Overall I felt my mental focus for the day was pretty good. I went into the round with a plan to leave the driver in the bag as much as possible and really focus on course management. I was defiantly not focused on the 2 footer and it carried over to the next holes tee shot.

Another hole I would like to focus on is my last hole of the day. On the tee I wanted a birdie to finish and that is what I did. I was focused on the tee but hit a low cut that ended up in the right rough. I had a shot at the green and that...
