Many people go to the movies. Everyone has different preference on what kind of movie is the best. Horror, comedy, romance, and action are different kind of movies. The kind of movie someone goes to see can give clues to what kind of person they are. For example, people who prefer horror probably tend to enjoy suspense and anxiety. But do we all know what makes a movie great? Many things contribute to a great movie such as the characters, how clear the story line is to the audience, and the most important is how well the audience can connect with the movie. In order to get audience attention with the movie and to clearly help audience to understand what is the story of the movie, the director need to have a good background music that will match to the scene as well as the shots.

In the horror movie, Psycho, written and produced by Alfred Hitchcock and was originally released in the year June 1960 is one of the most popular horror movie that was dominant in its time. Psycho happens to be a very distinctive movie as the author illustrate the estranged indivisible bond that could be formed in a human life. Alfred uses four great characters that happen to fit well into role to transmit the message to his audience and as the movie went on, the characters were also recycled. Marion Crane is the protagonist of the movie who was so much in love with Sam Loomis, her boyfriend. Their relationship was a romantic one but lacked direction towards marital grounds. Marion wanted so much to get married to his lover but it seemed quite difficult for Sam because he had not enough money to carry out a wedding for his beautiful lady due to his heavy debt. The unfortunate situation placed the two lovers in unhappy situations as they could not carry out their heart desires.
