Abortion- Pro-life

Is everyone happy to be here, that you are alive? What about you Mrs. Bernal? Well unfortunately everyone can’t say the same because they were not given the chance. Has everyone see the Casey Anthony trial out of Florida? Do you think she should have aborted her daughter or do you think that her daughter was better off being neglected and dying the way she did? How would you feel if you were aborted, that’s just it, you wouldn’t.

I have some key terms that I would like to define:

Abort: To end prematurely

Who would want their dinner ended early?

Who would want a good movie ended early?

Who would want their life ended early?

Certainly not me.

Fetus: The young of animal in the womb or egg.

Embryo: Organism in the first stages of development.

Baby: Infant: child’s early stages of life.

Life: animation.

Isn’t a fetus or embryo animate, it moves, has a heartbeat and blood flows through it.

Here are some things I believe as a Pro-life person:

* I believe that an unborn child is human.

* I believe life begins at conception.

* I do not believe that the government should fund abortions.

* I believe abortions are unsafe.

The struggle over abortion issues has been long and hard. For many people abortion is more of an idea than a hard reality. Many people don’t know the facts or ending results of an abortion. Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the U.S., which is funded by the government, has been compiling data about abortions since 1968. Another important source of abortion statistics is the Center of Disease Control (CDC), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has been compiling public health statistics since 1946.

How many abortions are performed in the U.S. annually? Approximately 1.21 million, this is 3,315 abortions per year.

How many abortions have been performed in the U.S. since it was legalized? Approximately 50 million.

How old are the women having abortions?
