Abstract

This research looks at some of the theories and concepts of public administration while understanding a case study: How A City Slowly Drowned. The theorists range from the 16th century through today. The theories are solid and have carried their meanings throughout time. The concepts, though have different relevance while facing this case study still assist in gaining a fuller understanding of public administration and theory. The actual job of public administration still has far to go to prove its worth. The work of public administration is the root of government. It is the drive that keeps government on track. Still there is a need to prove its worth. No research, new ideas or revamping old ideas are a waste of time; all work is relevant when it pertains to the future of public administration. Recognizing theories and their concepts is a driving force to putting Public Administration in the forefront of our political world.
