The Goji Berry–The Super Fruit

The mills in the arena of medicine and science grind slowly when contending with the dawdling outpour of cures versus the steadfastness that brings a patient far more quickly to the brink of disease and death.  There is no doubt that health is a major social issue not only for Americans, but also for people all around the world.  Daily, people die from cancers, diabetes and AIDS-all of which there may be treatments, but no cures.  What is evident is that if people continue to ignorantly or willfully live in toxic environments by repeatedly choosing to eat unhealthy foods or by remaining in relentlessly mad lifestyles, naturally the likelihood of death will dramatically increase.  For the betterment of a healthier society, fortunately, for more health conscious, global citizens, the fear of an increased likelihood of death by disease has created a conscious shift among the populace.  These health conscious people will look for better ways to protect themselves from illnesses and diseases by having a better diet plan and by living differently.  As a result, the marketplace is now flooded with new medicines, inventions and ideas, regarding living longer and healthier lives.  There are many options to improve one’s physical disposition, such as yoga, meditation, HGH treatment, Acai juice, DNA activation, juicing, vegetarianism and the Goji berry.  The Goji berry, which is grown as an evergreen shrub found in China, Mongolia and the Himalayas, may be the one super fruit that has been revered by the Chinese for over 5000 years. ("Are gogi berry," 2010) According to the Chinese, this berry is considered to be the quintessential fruit to having a healthier life for a longer duration of time.
