INTRODUCTION
Doing business on the service field, especially the restaurant business, is not strange to everybody. We easily find that any city has a big number of restaurants to serve food need for citizen. So does Daejeon, where there are several restaurants growing in the city. We observe that there are a lot of Chinese people and other foreigners living and working in Daejeon. Their need for foods is diversified, and not everyone can enjoy Korean foods. We, hence, plan to open a restaurant whose food is very special. It is Beijing Baozi. It looks like a dumpling but it’s absolutely different from a dumpling. A Baozi is a type of teamed, filled bun or bread-like item filled with meat or vegetarian fillings. It is very popular in China; and most Chinese like it. However, there has not yet a Baozi restaurant in Daejeon. That is the main reason why we are confident and eager to do business Baozi here.
Operation management is central to our organization. We know that operations will help us to put our strategy, which makes “Beijing Baozi” popular in Daejeon, in practice. Our main role of operations is to satisfy market.
