According to the interview taken with Mr. Usui Takahiro, Oita Karaage has been targeting “everyone” who is potential to buy Karaage. Since Karaage is Fried chicken of Japanese style, not many of people feel uncomfortable to eat; therefore, the potential customer could be from children up to elder customers. Because the company is trying to attract various levels of customers, it is propelling lots of different marketing such as separating size, making special packages for individual customers or the party customers, and selling the different promoting products. For example, the advertisement of Oita Karaage and the promotions on the bottom, it seems simple but has various colors and types to appeal to overall customers.

<Organization structure & plan>

While doing interview, the group members were impressed by Mr. Usui Takahiro for him having lots of passion about his work and company. Speaking of structure of organization, Oita Karaage Company is managed by the normal structure as other Japanese companies but he mentioned about the strong point of local company structure and the weak point of it. At first, the strong point of working at the local company is the leader(or the owner) has close relationship with workers so that all workers are possible to reach out and help each other. Between, it comes much easier to end up with all communicated decisions. On the other hand, the weak point is not having enough experts in the company, which means the every worker should be working on more than one task.

Even though Oita Karaage has some weak points they are attempting to approach its plans as the company’s credo.
