FGD Pointers
* What comes to your mind when you listen to the word “sweet”
* Establish the FGD from thereon on chocolates if it comes in discussion and if does not bring it from your side.
* What do you look for in a chocolate when you buy one?
* Try 2 cover points like quality, taste, price, contents, packaging etc etc
* Does retailer/shopkeeper have a say in their buying decision
* When do you buy chocolates
* Target here is to get the occasions list
* What are the brands of chocolates participants are aware of?
* Get list of as many brands as they know ( try bringing in campco if it does not come out)
* Why Cadbury/nestle/amul/campco?
* Why not Cadbury/nestle/amul/campco?
* What are the international brands of chocolates they are aware of?
* If they prefer them why so?
* Where do they buy chocolates from?
* Get all the locations one can buy chocolates from
* What all different types of chocolates they are aware of?
* Caramel
* Crunchy etc etc
* Do they consider health as an important factor while buying chocolates or will they prefer one which has benefits on those grounds?
* Knowledge on dark chocolates?
* Id the target segment member brand loyal to any particular type of chocolate?
* What is the image of Cadbury Vs nestle Vs amul Vs campco on chocolates?
* Do they know about flavors in chocolates? If yes which all?
* What do they expect from a chocolate? ( what would an idea chocolate be like for a customer)
* Do they know of any advertisement on chocolates? ( do not name any brand or company name- let them answer that)
* What do they like about those advertisements?
* Do they think advertisements for such products are effective?
* If yes – how ( what is their perception on the same)
