American Constitutional Law (Final Exam)

How can we as a people progress with skeletons in our closet? Facing new American challenges with an old American Constitution can be very difficult. With this being said, this helps the under privileged with the new amendments. It is the 21st century, and for anyone to say that there are no challenges in today’s society would be false information.

Immigration issues seem to be a big problem. What about those who immigrate to United States? Should citizens who are non-government employees have greater rights to express themselves politically than citizens who are employed by government? The answer to this question is no. Citizens who are non government employees should not have greater rights to express themselves politically because it is unequal to the population of the United States. It is impossible for one economic status or for one group of people to determine whether or not the government should have certain things. Non government employees do not make up 100 percent of the United States, therefore these employees should not have greater rights. These people who migrate to the United States are not quite citizens here of America; however, they are in America so any decision that is made will also impact the people who migrate here, thus they still have to get accustomed to being and becoming an American. To my understanding, again, regardless of work conditions or ethics it is similar to allowing one state to determine the future of the United States of America. It is sad to say that Americans had to write down something in order for people to speak up for their rights. It is sad to say that someone had to legalize the right to speak when an individual knows in his or her heart and mind that this is not right.
