“Taft River”

This was Taft Avenue when typhoon Pedring was currently destroying the country. As I took this picture during the typhoon, my imagination went wild. The railway seems to be a bridge and that the road under, which is the Taft Avenue, seems to be a river. I was laughing hard that I even sang the London Bridge song, but, after a while, I suddenly stopped and felt being serious. I asked myself if what the hell is really happening and even asked if that was a sign of the end of the world. But apparently when answers were popping inside my head, I felt how reality hurts. I just thought that most of us or should I say everyone, is guilty whenever asking the question as to who is the culprit why this calamity is happening. But for us, it is just another ordinary calamity that will pass by, destroy everything and leave nothing but trashes and wrecked properties. After all, in our daily living, we are careless of what might happen to our environment because all we care is ourselves. But this should not be our attitude for I believe that we, the humans, and environment are always related to each other. Whatever might happen to one entity will have an effect to the other entity. But at the end of the day, we should be thinking of the solutions not the problem because nothing will happen if this is the case.
