I used Nampa, Idaho in my assignment per the instructions, as it is the city where I reside. Included is what I believe are the most important developments that affect the hospitality business exactly where I reside.

A. Describe the type of demographic data that is available from the U.S. Census Bureau for the state/region/city you selected. I picked the city of Nampa ID in order to perform my Data profiles - ACS. The demographic information available is basic, social, financial, and real estate.

b. How diverse is the geographical area you selected in terms of ethnic makeup? Ethical makeup in Nampa ID is reasonably different; however the majority is white accompanied by Hispanic, then Black and Asian, there are a number of American Indian Natives in addition to a small amount of Native Hawaiian along with other Pacific Islanders.

c. What ethnic groups are the largest and which are the smallest? While White may be the biggest group, native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders are definitely the smallest.

d. What is the mean household income for the area selected? The average mean family earnings for Nampa ID are $69,450.00.

e. What percentage of the population has an associate degree or higher? The data only stopped working that may have a bachelor’s degree or more, and also this proportion is 46.0.

f. What percentage of the population works in the leisure and hospitality industry?

Approximately 18% of the inhabitants work in the leisure time and hospitality industry.

g. How does it compare with other occupations in the same area? Nampa ID and the whole Treasure Valley area, which consists of Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell as well as the adjoining small areas, is definitely affluent in the agriculture business. The amusement and hospitality industry here is also continuing to grow.
