Customer behavior helps companies with a transparent comprehensive understanding of the consumer which results in a focused marketing effort. Analysis confirms that customer behavior helps companies to boost performance and improves customer behavior. Competitor behavior companies are more adaptable to the changing trends of the market. Their actions are more guided by the actions of the competitor (Marketing Strategy, 2010/09).
When one is not familiar with a product one does not read or hear the comments from consumers or the market. The Body Armor market has spread to many different agencies, not just military or law enforcement but also in the private sector as well, it is now also a market for the private citizen. Doing research, on body armor, I realized just how big the market has become and the consumer who uses it.
I have found that companies that manufacture and sell items like bullet proof vests stand by their products like SafeGuard Armor who is the industry leader for body armor, ballistic helmets and ballistic plates. Prices vary for each particular purpose. I have also come across information of companies who claim to have the strongest fabric and lightest weight in body armor or bullet proof vests protection, such as Point Blank Solution Inc, Pinnacle Armor and Second Chance.
These companies knew their product was defective but continued to sell it anyway. These companies knew that their product extremely deteriorated over time but, sold them anyway to law enforcement agencies and endangered the lives of the men and women who wear them. These are now being sued by the government and have agreed to pay $1 million penalty for doing so (Body Armor News).
When this happens it makes one leery of the product if they wear it on a daily basis such as law enforcement and it would affect the person wearing it both psychologically and personally because personally one values their life and to wear a...
