A Narrative on the Cultural Matrix

Introduction

The following is a narrative that shows the concepts from the Cultural Matrix. It shows the conversation between Mike Rowe, the director of Marketing at Wrangler Jeans, and, a recent college graduate from who just received a degree in Advertising/Public Relations. Mr. is excited to interview with Mr. Rowe and is hopeful that his knowledge of the Cultural Matrix will set himself apart from the other people applying for the job that he has recently applied for. Wrangler Jean Company is one of the most well known manufactures of jeans and clothing products in the United States. Wrangler offers a wide variety and range of jean products for men and women, and promote that their jeans are comfortable and affordable. The topic below is about the Wrangler Five Star Denim Jeans for men, which is currently available in many stores across the country.

TIME: 6:00 P.M.; February 15th, 2011

PLACE: An Italian restaurant located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where a second job interview is taking place between Mike Rowe and Skylar Slavik

The scene begins in an upscale Italian restaurant that is located in Pittsburgh near one of the main offices of Wrangler Jeans. The interview that is about to happen is the second and hopefully the final interview for the position that Mr. Slavik had applied for. During this second interview, Mr. Rowe hopes to hear more about the ideas on marketing decisions that Mr. Slavik has previously brought up. The interviewer, Mr. Rowe has already arrived and is seated looking over the Wall Street Journal as he waits for Mr. Slavik to arrive. Upon Mr. Slaviks arrival, Mr. Rowe stands up to greet Mr. Slavik, says hello and shakes his hand. As they sit down, their sever John, comes to the table to take drink orders and the meeting begins.
