Lawn Care's order winners is the quality of their product, which in this case would be their grass seed and fertilizer.

3. Lawn Care needs to re-evaluate their strategic goal for the present and the future. Lawn Care produces a quality product that everyone wants, but the customer does not see the quality on their investment because they do not know how to apply it. Lawn Care should provide a package on providing a quality grass seed and fertilizer, in which they do, along with a customer rep. on how to use the product. One of their competitors is already providing a bundle package, leaving Lawn Care scratching their heads for ideas. They should do what their competitor is doing plus beat their price. This will provide the order winners that they are currently lacking.

4. Lawn Care could offer a money back guarantee policy within a certain time-frame if the customer doesn't see results. Also, have how-to-do videos on their websites so it is convenient for customers to view online. For those who are computer illiterate, Lawn Care could provide a how-to-do video. Also, give an incentive of having a customer rep come out and show the customer how to use the product, accompanied by a followed up on the customer on progress and questions. These steps would definitely separate them from the rest of the competition.

5. Lawn Care's new strategy is to promote a quality product, with extended packages, while satisfying the customers needs. When you imply more services to the customer, you retain that customer and gain more by word of mouth on the service they were given.
