1. List the three most important nonpersonal influences on consumer behavior and how they apply to consumers.
The nonpersonal influence : situation influence is external factor that concern about consumer in the current. Furthermore, it maybe has effective to buying decision or buying behavior. The nonpersonal influence has the three most important.
1. Time, the time has influence to buying behavior of consumer because I think we need to apply follow that situation in order to know what is consumer needs in that time. For example of apply,
- The New Year, the consumer will have to buy card or gift.
- The rainy season, the consumer needs to buy umbrella and raincoat.
2. Place, Place has influence to buying behavior of consumer because when the consumer would like to buy product, they will consider place that it’s easy to buy or not such as shopping mall, website, and grocery. Furthermore, I think we have to apply other factors in order to attractive consumer go that place such as convince, service, and sales promotion.
3. Environment, Place has influence to buying behavior of consumer because it has effect to buying and use product. So, I think if I open a shop, I will make modern style or I will find friend that is a good art in order to apply for attractive consumer in my shop such as flower, picture, wallpaper, TV LCD, table, chair and other.
2. Describe the basic consumer decision process model displayed in the text. Be sure to include any processes that precede the actual decisions made by consumers.
First we have to make three process of Consumer Behavior : Decision process
1. Interpersonal influences : Family, society, culture. or
Nonpersonal influences : Time, Place, and Environment.
2. Personal processes : Perception, Learning and persuasion, and Motivation.
3. Step in the decision process.
