Event: Boat Party

Theme: Attended something fun that I never expected to attend.

On July 3 I got an opportunity to attend the boat party at still water. It was my first time to attend the event so I was all excited to go and ride the cruise ship. This event happened only once a year and only during the July 4th weekend. When I and my friends got to still water after forty-five minutes drive, I was shocked to see people from different background attended the event. After asking the organizer the main purpose of the event he said mainly people just go to the event to socialize, network, and have fun while trying to experience something new like a ship ride.

So after greeting some of the people that I know we decided to go and form a line. We board the ship at around 7.00pm. The line was too long but likely enough I got the opportunity to be among the first people to get in the ship. I was so amazed. The ship was so huge, it had three sections. The first deck was like the VIP section where people just sit down and relax, food was also saved there. The second deck was where people just sit, drink, eat and have conversations. One of the dancing floors was located on the second deck. Lastly the third deck where the second dancing floor was located. On this deck people were not supposed to sit, the deck was strictly for dancing only.

On my side I liked the third deck mostly because it was located in an open area where you actually enjoy the breeze and see the water clearly. The ship was parked with a lot people so again at the middle of the event I had to ask the organizer how many people were in that ship, and he said more than two hundred and ninety people board the ship. I was so surprised; I didn’t know people like to attend this kind of event that much.

After touring the ship for a while then I decided to go and hangout on the third deck with my friends. Then we heard an announcement from the captain introducing...
