I think children safety is very important. It is important to me because they need to be healthy and strong when they enter their teenage or adulthood. Children from infants to toddlers need to have special attention.

There are many things that need to be taught to a toddler. They can get this education from a Daycare Center. A Daycare Center is a place where you as a parent can leave your child without worrying about a thing, because you know your child will be in special care.

At a daycare, a child does so much more than learn. They play with other children and get meals. Meals such as breakfast, snacks and lunch. A daycare has an experienced staff. The staff is highly educated. It is a requirement for staff to go to school before they actually works with the children. There is an amount of years for an individual to go to school before getting hired at a center.

Safety is the number one thing at a daycare. First Aid is one of them; all employees at a daycare are CPR certified. They know how to deal with all kinds of situations. Situations like; head lice, burns, and food borne illnesses. Some of the objectives for guiding children’s health is developing center health policies, recognizing ill children while making daily observations, contacting parents on health issues, and planning a safe environment to prevent accidents.

Daycares also have health inspections to protect a child’s health. This is when a teacher looks at a child for rashes, sores, swelling, or bruises. They also look for symptoms to see if a child is ill. Some of these symptoms are diarrhea, fever, frequent scratching of body or scalp, congested or runny nose, achiness or vomiting.

If a child has any of these symptoms, he or she should get medical attention and a parent should be contacted. If the child is not too ill he or she should be given medication by a licensed pediatrician. All daycares should have First Aid supplies. And these supplies should not be kept in a locked cabinet...
