Career Development Plan Summary

IT Company Pty (Ltd) – Upper Management

Joanne Frank, Mary Mary, Joe Soap, and Jonathan Dowry

April 18th, 2011

IT Company Pty (Ltd) has re-visited their business strategy which has resulted in the restructuring of our division. It is my understanding that this change in strategic direction has impacted my team which will require strategic restructuring as we combine a few competencies into one department. Previously my department has managed all service accounts; the proposal set forth will develop and grow to include Sales and Marketing competencies. Based on the job analysis exercise conducted, we have identified that we already have a good complement of staff to continue fulfilling the requirements of running the services area; however it also necessitates the requirement to hire an additional 5 people to fulfill the positions of Sales and Marketing and a manager. Two people will fulfill Sales, two will fulfill Marketing and since the team size has grown considerably I have requested one first-level manager to manage this new operation.
