Career Development Plan Part II Development of Training and Mentoring Program

With the completed merger of InterClean and Enviro Tech, the selection of a new sales team, it is now time to set up the standards necessary for the team to become productive for InterClean. In order to accomplish this and carry out the new vision of the company, we will need to develop a Training and Mentoring Program.

This training will emphasize the development of planned programs designed to improve performance at the individual, group, and/or organizational levels. Improved performance will in turn allow for the establishment of a higher standard that will be measurable, increase knowledge, skills, attitudes, and/or social behavior making our team more effective.

Program Objectives

The objectives of this new training program will be Performance Standards, Delivery Methods, Content for Training and Mentoring, Time Frame, Evaluation Methods. According to surveys of corporate training and development practices, they have found four similar characteristics that distinguish the top training companies. These characteristics are management’s commitment to a training and development program. Additionally the survey revealed that a solid training program coincides to business strategy and objectives linked to the company bottom-line. Organizational environments are very open to feedback. They stress continuous improvement, promoting risk taking, and learn from experiences good and bad. Each of the top training companies are committed to invest in resources, providing ample time and money required training success.
