SUBJECT: Implementation of Electronic Swipe Time Cards
First, allow me thank each and every one of you for your contributions to our continued success. Wal-Mart, America’s largest retailer, has recently signed on as a new customer and in doing so will require us to implement some necessary changes within the first quarter of 2012. Effective April 1st, 2012, all employees will be required to use an electronic swipe card for entrance and exiting of the building.
The implementation of this new technology will serve multiple purposes; however, the two key roles are the safety of all our employees and the expediting of our payroll procedures. Each employee will be issued their personalized ID badge which will function as identification and as your electronic time card activating device. These badges are not to be shared and you will not be permitted access to the premises without your personal identification badge.
I appreciate your cooperation as we transition into this new technology. Remember, this is in the best interest of you and the organization as a whole. A pilot program is scheduled to take effect on March 1st, 2012 with a few select team members and then full implementation will take place on April 1st, 2012. This provides ample time for each of us to obtain the appropriate training for operating these new devices.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your immediate supervisor or manager.
Respectfully,
Warren Bucket, President
