Introduction

In the early IT generation, companies and big institutes used web 1.0which was later shifted to the web version 2.0.to compare the changes between web1.0 and 2.0, is that I 1.0 few contents were provided by the authors to the audience while in 2.0, users use the web to generating platform and for sharing contents. Many online companies, social networks, intelligence collectors, bloggers use this, and web applicants use web 2.0 to make a big splash in their future.

It is said that Dale Dougherty and Tim O’ Reilly first used the label of web 2.0 in creating the success of internet companies’. This led to the web 2.0 conference that was held on October 2004 (Funk, 2009).This was mainly to contribute to the evolution of the internet. Therefore, web 2.0 is a way for looking at the new social collaboration. This still involves the sharing of contents, generating user contents using different social software and interacting with applications that are web based.

In web 2.0 there are different application areas. This includes social networks and sharing services, wikis, blogs, podcasts, and aggregators.

Social networks and sharing services

This service is web-based, which allow groups to create profiles articulating with other list of users. This enables the groups to share connectivity, by exchanging their common ideas. Apart from this, it enables sharing resources like videos, photos, documents etc. Examples includes, Twitter, LinkedIn, net logger, etc

Wikis

These are web-based application that has collaboration with the users. This allows the users to add or edit documents or pages. Wikis mostly use hyperlinks and simple text to enable it to create new pages. Examples include, Wikipedia, wiki answers, etc.

Blogs

These are Web sites used to provide user post his personal thoughts, opinions, and records. Entries being fed in chronological order, it can be used in different varieties, like learning by different researchers and student. An example is...
