1. A SONG WITH A ONE WORD TITLE- ARTIST- PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION, Song Title- “ Kiss”

EXPLANATION: “Kiss” - is a 1986 single by Prince and the Revolution, from the album Parade. Kiss is about a man wanting a woman and not caring if she is perfect. He is very attracted to her and wants her kiss.

RESEARCH: Prince and The Revolution was an American rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1979 by Prince. The band originally started off with 6 members, Prince (lead vocals, guitar, and piano), Dez Dickerson (guitar), Andre Cymone (bass guitar), Bobby Z (drums, percussion), Gayle Chapman (keyboards), and Matt Fink (keyboards). This group added on 9 more members in as the years went by. Prince and The Revolution has won three Grammy awards, has had six top ten singles and two number one billboard albums. Their most famous album Purple Rain has sold over 16 million albums in the U. S. alone.

2. A SONG WITH A NUMBER IN THE TITLE- Artist – QUEEN , Song Title – ‘ 39

EXPLANATION: ‘39 is a song written by Queen Guitarist Brian May. The song is about an astronaut who travels to a distant planet at the speed of light. Returning home 100 years later because of time dilation, the astronaut finds that he has not aged and that his wife has died and he’s the same age as his grandchildren. He is devastated.

RESEARCH: Queen is a British rock band formed in London, England in 1971. The band consisted of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar, vocals), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals). Queen has had a total of 18 number one albums, 18 number one singles, 10 number ones DVD’s and has sold over 300 million albums. This makes Queen the world’s best-selling music artists.
