Summyies

Post your Weekly Summaries in Discussion under Week Summary topic thread by Day 7 of each week (unless there is a problem in class that you wish to bring to my attention in private; if so, please send me an email).

The easiest way to write weekly summaries is to copy the questions to the body of your post and then answer them in a different color font. Please make sure to proofread carefully. Grammar and spelling errors affect the grading. I use weekly summaries to gauge if you are reading the assignments and following the DQs.

In your Weekly Summaries due by Day 7, please cover the following areas (a minimum of 100-150 words per area in each of the first three areas is suggested). Write your answers after each question; please change the color of your answers so they are easily distinguishable. Summaries are posted like a DQ not a paper, so post them under the thread in <Threaded Discussion> and write in the body of the post. The article needs APA-formatted reference. Add your name to the subject line for your summary.

 The sections marked with this icon and red font must be answered for full summary credit. Other sections are optional; they are suggestions to help you formulate your answers. You receive partial credit when appropriate.

 Review: find a recent article that relates/ties the theory/concepts/objectives discussed this week to the workplace and marketplace. If you find it on the Internet, include the URL (referenced in APA-format)—how does the article relate to our class objectives?

 Text recap: find one concept or example from the text assignment for this week that was meaningful to you and explain why you chose that item; and/or find additional written work by the same author who wrote our text or by authors who are cited as references in our text.

- What is the most important thing you learned this week?

- What important questions remain unanswered?
