Brothers and sisters have you ever:

Bought a carnival ticket, but didn’t ride all the rides??

Have you ever bought a vehicle with navigation, but didn’t use it??

Do you have a cell phone that you don’t use all the apps on??

Do you have a family that you rarely, have family home evening with??

Do you have scriptures, that you don’t read??

Do you have church meetings you could attend but you don’t??

Do you have the opportunity to repent, but you don’t do it??

Did you have the opportunity to share your testimony with a friend, but was too scared of rejection??

Have you ever lived 2 hours from the temple and have never been there??

Story about World traveler:

Too late the man realized he had been living far beneath his privileges.

The question this parable raises is, Are we as priesthood holders living below our privileges when it comes to the sacred power, gifts, and blessings that are OUR opportunity and right as bearers of God’s priesthood.

1 Nephi 19:24: Hear the words of the prophet, and apostles!! Read Sciptures and liken them unto yourselves!!

First: Read the Owners Manual

Lets ignite our spiritual fire, and get excited about reading our scriptures again. Treat them like your new car or new computer, and have a desire to learn about things you haven’t realized before.

Lets commit to reading the scriptures starting with Doctrine and Covenants Sections 20, 84,107, and 121. (talks about Priesthood responsibility) The more we know our responsibilities as priesthood holders, the more we will be able to utilize all of our privileges available.
