I hereby attached our report of analyzing Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd Information Technology (IT) infrastructure challenges, and proposal of Cloud Computing to the company business benefits and recommendation of adoption and adaption to its IT infrastructure.

The report included a detail analyst of the company IT infrastructure, identified each platforms issues and challenges faces in the management of the system.

The introduction of Cloud Computing to the company IT will benefit the organization in reduction of operation cost, increase MIS department efficiency and less glitch to the computing system.

The report recommended two ways in which the company cans adoption to benefit the technology.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report has been produced to analyze the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure issues and challenges faced in Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd in regards of introducing Cloud Computing to the organization.

The current challenges faced in Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd in their IT Infrastructure are:-

* Internet Platforms

Trained programmer is required to maintain and service .NET Framework on the internet platform of the company.

* Computer Hardware Platforms

Replacement hardware purchased and upgrading provided to the end users to be compatible with the existing computer using in the office.

* Operating System Platforms

Manual system patch update required to ensure security and the operating system stable and secure.

* Networking / Telecommunications

Connectivity of all the company computers in a LAN required huge amount of wiring and cabling.

* Data Management and Storage

The company required huge amount of data...
