Tyco International Limited is a supremely diversified worldwide-reknown global manufacturing company comprises of 5 major business segments: ADT Worldwide, Fire Protection Services, Safety Products, Flow Control and Electrical and Metal Products. In year 2007, a corporate separation witnessed a split into 3 publicly independent companies: Covidien Ltd, Tyco Electronics Ltd, and Tyco International Ltd.

In recent years, high series of corporate scandals involving the likes of Enron, WorldCom and Tyco has brought an erosion of investor confidence and sweeping of new federal regulations to how leaders of every firm being able to scandal proof the repetition of such disaster through practices of good corporate governance.
